A Relaxed Session Starts Here
Helpful tups to make your session feel easy, connected, and stress-free
Preparing for Your Session
Your session is meant to feel relaxed, playful, and connected - not stiff or stressful. The most meaningful photographs often come from the in-between moments: laughter, movement, cuddles, and genuine interaction.
This guide was created to help you feel prepared and confident before your session so you can simply enjoy the experience together.
Before Your Session
- Arrive a few minutes early
- Give little ones a snack beforehand
- Avoid pressuring children to "smile"
- Trust movement and candid moments
- Bring comfort items if needed
- Let kids be themselves
Children do not need to sit perfectly still or smile at the camera the entire time. Some of the sweetest moments happen naturally through play, exploration, and connection.
What to Bring

- Neutral blanket
- Water/snacks
- Backup outfits, especially if you want to go into the water
- Hairbrush
- Baby wipes
- Comfortable shoes/sandals
- Small sentimental items, if desired
- Sunscreen & bug spray
Trust the Process

Windy hair, sandy feet, wiggly toddlers, and imperfect moments are all part of the story. My sessions are centered around connection rather than perfection, allowing space for genuine emotion and natural interaction.

A Note for Parents
Your children do not need to perform perfectly for beautiful images to happen. Stay close, love on them, play with them, and let the moment unfold naturally. I'll gently guide your family throughout the session.
